Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda invited the members of the Japanese National Team of the London 2012 Games of the XXX Olympiad and others to the Prime Minister's Office and held a ceremony to present them with a certificate of honor.

In the London 2012 Games of the XXX Olympiad, held for 17 days from July 27 to August 12, the Japanese National Team won 38 medals including 7 gold medals.

In the ceremony, there was a presentation of the certificate of honor from the Prime Minister to the representative athletes.
