Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda held the Meeting among Four Ministers on the Issue of Nuclear Power Stations at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his opening address, "Based on the decision of the three ministers on the stress tests conducted in July 2011, we would like to thoroughly confirm the technical and scientific evaluation of the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) and the Nuclear Safety Commission (NSC), and make a responsible judgment among the four of us on whether the safety necessary for restart is secured or not from the people's perspective.
First, we would like to verify thoroughly all of the facts made clear so far, including the results of the investigation of the accidents up to now, the implementation of safety measures taken, and the confirmed results of the first evaluation of stress tests of Units 3 and 4 of Oi Nuclear Power Station."
