Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama attended a joint meeting of the General Meeting and the Integrated Strategy Meeting of the Multi-stakeholder Forum on Social Responsibility for a Sustainable Future, held at the Consumer Affairs Agency.
The achievements of the meeting included the adoption of the declaration, “Our Social Responsibility,” as a first step forward for the Multi-stakeholder Forum.
This Multi-stakeholder Forum was established in March 2009, as a new framework for a range of players to work in concert and address social issues on their own that cannot be resolved by the government alone.
