Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama held a meeting of the Strategic Headquarters for the Promotion of an Advanced Information and Telecommunications Network Society (IT Strategic Headquarters) at the Prime Minister's Office.
During the meeting, a decision was made on the new IT strategy for establishing a society of popular sovereignty.
