Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama attended the fifth meeting of the Council to Promote Reform of the System for Persons with Disabilities at the Central Government Building No. 4.
In his address, Prime Minister Hatoyama said, "Development of domestic law is an important step to squarely ratify the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
