Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama visited Kochi Prefecture.
Prime Minister Hatoyama first visited Akaoka Town, Konan City to observe the Akaoka Fruit and Vegetable Market and the Akaoka Town Shopping District. The Prime Minister then had a meeting to exchange views with Mr. Masanao Ozaki, Governor of Kochi Prefecture, and Mr. Seiya Okazaki, Mayor of Kochi City, among others. Lastly, Prime Minister Hatoyama visited Grand Bonheur, a special elderly nursing home in Nunoshida, Kochi City.
