On December 28 (local time), Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, who is visiting India, received a courtesy call in Mumbai, where he is staying, from Mr. Mukesh D. Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited. Later, the Prime Minister held talks with Mr. Ratan N Tata, Chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, and also met with businesspeople in India.

In the afternoon, Prime Minister Hatoyama moved from Mumbai to Delhi, where he held talks with Ms. Sonia Gandhi, President of the Indian National Congress.
