Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama received a courtesy call from Mr. Musashigawa Akihide, Chairman of the Nihon Sumo Kyokai, and two Yokozuna sumo wrestlers, Hakuho and Asashoryu, at the Prime Minister's Office.

During the courtesy call, Chairman Musashigawa presented Prime Minister Hatoyama with miniatures of Yokozuna ropes, with Hakuho's red rope being fastened in the shiranui style and Asashoryu's white rope in the unryu style.

Later, Prime Minister Hatoyama took a commemorative photograph with the two Yokozuna sumo wrestlers.

With the completion of the September Tournament in Kokugikan in Ryogoku on September 27, the Grand Sumo Tournament's November Tournament, also known as Fukuoka Tournament, will start on November 15 in the Fukuoka Kokusai Center in Fukuoka City.
