Tokyo Governor Koike told me Tokyo intends to request that people over 65 years of age and those with underlying conditions refrain from using the Go To Travel campaign. I responded by stating my understanding of that approach as one of Tokyo’s countermeasures. Following the exchange, we agreed that the national government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will collaborate thoroughly to prevent the spread of infections by all means possible.
