On September 24, 2021 (local time), the Prime Minister, who is visiting Washington D.C. in the United States, held a summit meeting with the Hon Scott Morrison, MP, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia.
 
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister attended the second Japan-Australia-India-U.S. summit meeting with the Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States of America, the Prime Minister of Australia Morrison, and H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. After the meeting, the leaders issued a joint statement (English /Japanese ) and a fact sheet (English / Japanese ).
 
Then the Prime Minister attended a meeting hosted by the Honorable Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States of America.
 
Afterwards, the Prime Minister spoke to the press regarding the Japan-Australia-India-U.S. summit meeting and other matters.
