On December 24, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Chengdu in the People’s Republic of China to attend the Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Summit Meeting and other events, attended the Seventh Japan-China-ROK Business Summit with H.E. Dr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, and H.E. Mr. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea (ROK). After that, the three leaders attended the Eighth Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Summit Meeting, followed by a joint press announcement, where they issued the Trilateral Cooperation Vision for the Next Decade.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister held a meeting with President Moon, and then attended a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Japan-China-ROK trilateral cooperation, which is a cultural program. Thereafter, the Prime Minister held a press conference.
