ASEAN-related Summit Meetings and Other Events: Second Day

On November 4, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Bangkok in the Kingdom of Thailand to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-related Summit Meetings and other events, held a meeting with H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. After that, the Prime Minister attended the 22nd ASEAN Plus Three (Japan-China-Republic of Korea) Summit Meeting, followed by meetings with H.E. Dr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and H.E. Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, respectively. Following that, Prime Minister Abe received a courtesy call from Ambassador Robert C. O’Brien, National Security Advisor of the United States of America.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended the 14th East Asia Summit (EAS), then held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Rodrigo R. Duterte, President of the Republic of the Philippines. He then attended the 22nd ASEAN-Japan Summit and the 3rd Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Summit, followed by meetings with H.E. Mr. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, and H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, respectively.
Finally, Prime Minister Abe attended the 11th Mekong-Japan Summit Meeting.
