On September 24, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting New York in the United States of America, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended the SDG Summit and gave a speech. Following that, he held a meeting with H.E. Mr. António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN).
In the evening, the Prime Minister delivered an address at the General Debate in the UN General Assembly.
