On August 24, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Biarritz, France, to attend the G7 Biarritz Summit.
Prime Minister Abe held talks, respectively, with the H.E. Dr. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany; the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada; and H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
In the evening, Prime Minister Abe was welcomed to France by President Macron and his wife. Following that, Prime Minister Abe attended a working dinner on the themes of diplomacy and security.
