G20 Osaka Summit: Second Day

On June 29, 2019, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, hosted the G20 Osaka Summit.
The Prime Minister held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, and then hosted the Leaders’ Special Event on Women’s Empowerment. The Prime Minister then hosted the third session on the theme of addressing inequalities and an inclusive and sustainable world, followed by a meeting with H.E. Mr. Jair Messias Bolsonaro, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister hosted the fourth session (working lunch) on the theme of climate change, environment, and energy.
In the late afternoon, the Prime Minister hosted the closing session of the G20 Osaka Summit, and then held a press conference following the closing of the Summit as the G20 President.
In the evening, the Prime Minister attended the closing ceremony for the Japan-Russia exchange years with H.E. Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, followed by a meeting with the President. The Prime Minister then held a document signing ceremony and an exchange of documents ceremony, followed by a joint press announcement.
