On May 27, 2019, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a summit meeting and other events with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, at Akasaka Palace State Guest House.
The two leaders held a summit meeting, followed by a working lunch. Afterwards, the leaders held a meeting with families of abductees, and hosted a joint press conference.
