On September 5, 2018, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Niigata Prefecture.
The Prime Minister observed a series of demonstration of a self-driving combine harvester and a self-driving tractor as well as the automatic spraying of agrochemicals using a drone and a powered exoskeletons at an agricultural facility in Niigata City.
