On July 20, 2018, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a request regarding the “Emergency Resolution on Ensuring the Safety of Concrete Block Walls and Other Facilities of Schools” from the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Parliamentary League on Promotion of Anti-Seismic Reinforcement and Maintenance of School Facilities at the Prime Minister’s Office.
