On November 1, the third reshuffled third Abe Cabinet resigned at the cabinet meeting in the morning. In the afternoon, Shinzo Abe, a member of the House of Representatives, was designated as the 98th Prime Minister since Hirobumi Ito, the first Prime Minister of Japan.
