Today H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 28 was launched from the Tanegashima Space Center, and Information Gathering Satellite Optical-5, which was carried onboard, was successfully delivered into the predetermined orbit. The Government will make maximum use of information gathering satellites, including Optical-5, and take all necessary precautions for Japan’s national security and risk management.
