Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks with Mr. Tadamori Oshima, Speaker of the House of Representatives; Mr. Tatsuo Kawabata, Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives; Mr. Chuichi Date, President of the House of Councillors; and Mr. Akira Gunji, Vice-President of the House of Councillors, at the Diet.
The Prime Minister received the compilation of discussions by the Speaker and Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President and Vice-President of the House of Councillors about the legislature response to the abdication of His Majesty the Emperor and other matters.
