On September 22 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Havana in the Republic of Cuba.
Prime Minister Abe first held talks with H.E. Mr. Fidel Castro Ruz, former President of the Council of State of Cuba, and then attended a meeting with Cubans of Japanese descent.
Following this, the Prime Minister attended a floral tribute, and then a welcome ceremony with H.E. Mr. Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Council of State of Cuba. Afterwards, the leaders held talks and a signing ceremony.
