Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a meeting of the Special Committee of the House of Representatives on the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
During the Special Committee meeting, a silent prayer was first offered to those who perished in the earthquake centered in the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture. Following this, the Prime Minister answered general questions from the Committee members on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the “Bill on the Development of Related Legislation Following the Conclusion of the Trans-Pacific Partnership .”
