On October 3, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe welcomed H.E. Mr. Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of the French Republic , at the Kyoto State Guest House. Afterwards, the leaders took a walk through the Japanese gardens.
The following day, October 4, both leaders visited Ginkaku-ji Temple.
