On the morning of September 27 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, during his visit to New York in the United States of America, attended the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment and then held talks with H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and H.E. Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran , respectively.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe attended the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit 2015 , where he gave a statement and received a courtesy call from Mr. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee . Later, the Prime Minister attended a Japanese cuisine reception.
