Mekong-Japan Summit Meetings and Other Events

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks with the leaders of the Mekong region and other related events in Tokyo.
The Prime Minister first held talks and joint press announcements with H.E. Mr. Thein Sein, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and H.E. Mr. Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, respectively, and then the three leaders attended a signing ceremony. Next, Prime Minister Abe held talks and a joint press announcement with H.E. Mr. Samdech Akka Maha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe held talks, a signing ceremony, and a joint press announcement with H.E. Mr. Thongsing Thammavong, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Lastly, the Prime Minister held talks, a signing ceremony, an exchange of documents, and a joint press announcement with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
