On April 28 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is currently visiting Washington D.C. in the United States of America, attended a welcome ceremony at the White House, and held a summit meeting with the Hon. Barack H. Obama, President of the United States of America, followed by a joint press conference.
After that, the Prime Minister attended a luncheon hosted by the Hon. Joseph R. Biden Jr., Vice President of the United States of America, and the Hon. John Kerry, Secretary of State of the United States of America.
In the evening, the Prime Minister attended a state dinner.
