On November 16 (local time), during his visit to Brisbane, Australia to attend the G20 Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a Australia-Japan-United States Trilateral Leaders Meeting with the H.E. Mr. Barack H. Obama, President of the United States of America, and the H.E. Mr. Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia. Following this, Prime Minister Abe held talks with President Obama.
Later, the Prime Minister attended the G20 second session, the theme of which was “strengthening the global economy,” and the G20 third session, the theme of which was “energy.”
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe held talks with H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.
The following day, November 17 (local time), Prime Minister Abe held talks with H.E. Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore.
