On November 13 (local time) Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the East Asia Summit (EAS) held in Naypyidaw in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister held meetings with H.E. Mr. Prayuth Chan-o-cha , Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak , Prime Minister of Malaysia, respectively, and after that he attended the ASEAN Plus Three (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Plus Japan, China and Republic of Korea) Summit.
After the meeting ended, Prime Minister Abe visited the former capital of Yangon and Yangon’s central post office.
