On November 11 (local time), during his visit to Beijing to attend the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was first welcomed by H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China. Following this, Prime Minister Abe attended a Summit Meeting, the theme of which was advancing regional economic integration . The Prime Minister then took part in a commemorative photograph session, and planted a commemorative tree.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe attended a working lunch and another Summit Meeting, the theme of which was promoting innovative development, economic reform and growth . Afterwards the Prime Minister held a press conference.
