On October 17 (local time), during his visit to the Italian Republic to attend the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) 10 Summit Meeting and other events, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks in the morning with H.E. Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and attended a Summit Meeting retreat session. Later, the Prime Minister attended the closing ceremony of the ASEM 10 Summit Meeting.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister attended a meeting of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) leaders.
Lastly, the Prime Minister held talks with H.E. Mr. Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine.
