On September 25 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting New York in the United States to attend the 69th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), in the morning, held talks with H.E. Dr. Fuad Ma’soum, President of the Republic of Iraq, at a hotel in New York City, and then attended the Japan-Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting held at the Headquarters of the UN. Later, the Prime Minister attended the High-level Meeting on Response to the Ebola Virus Disease Outbreak and delivered an address.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister delivered an address at the General Debate at the General Assembly Hall. Afterwards, the Prime Minister held talks with H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
Lastly, the Prime Minister held a press conference.
