The Prime Minister Attends a Meeting of the Budget Committee and the Plenary Session of the House of Councillors

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors in the morning and afternoon, and the plenary session of the House of Councillors in the evening.
During the meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors, the Prime Minister answered general and closing questions from Committee members on the FY2013 supplementary budget.
The FY2013 supplementary budget was then voted on and approved.
Later, in the plenary session of the House of Councillors, the House voted on and passed the FY2013 supplementary budget.
