Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives in the morning and afternoon, and the plenary session of the House of Representatives in the evening.
At the Budget Committee meeting of the House of Representatives, intensive discussion took place on the topic of the basic stance of the Abe Cabinet regarding the implementation status of the budget. Following this, the Prime Minister answered closing questions from Committee members on the FY2013 supplementary budget.
The FY2013 supplementary budget was then voted on and approved.
In the plenary session of the House of Representatives, the House voted on and passed the FY2013 supplementary budget.
