The Prime Minister Visits Miyagi Prefecture

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Miyagi Prefecture to gauge the progress of the reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In the morning, the Prime Minister visited a joint oyster processing plant belonging to JF Miyagi (an association of local fishery cooperatives) in Ishinomaki City, and then sampled oysters cultivated in Ishinomaki Bay.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister visited public housing for disaster-stricken households in the Iboishi area of Shiogama City. The Prime Minister then moved to the Miyagi Reconstruction Park in Tagajo City and observed the next-generation mobility system research team project.
