Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a meeting of the Special Committee on National Security in the morning, and the plenary session of the House of Representatives in the afternoon.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members on the special intelligence protection bill. Then, the Committee voted on the bill and judged that it should be approved.
At the plenary session in the afternoon, the House voted on and approved the bill.
