The Prime Minister Visits Miyagi Prefecture

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Miyagi Prefecture to gauge the progress of the reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Upon arriving in Nakazato, Ishinomaki City, the Prime Minister first observed public housing for disaster-stricken households.
Following this, he observed the Kaisei Comprehensive Care Center in Kaisei, Ishinomaki City.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister moved to Shizugawa District, Minamisanriku Town. After receiving an explanation of the damages from Mr. Jin Sato, Mayor of Minamisanriku Town, he offered a silent bow.
Later, the Prime Minister visited the temporary shopping area, the Minamisanriku Sun Sun Shopping Village, and sampled and purchased local products.
Lastly, the Prime Minister observed the Minamisanriku Medical Clinic.
