The Prime Minister Attends a Meeting of the Budget Committee and the Plenary Session of the House of Councillors

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors in the morning, and the plenary session of the House of Councillors in the afternoon.
At the Budget Committee meeting of the House of Councillors attended by all ministers, an explanation was provided on the provisional FY2013 budget, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members.
The provisional FY2013 budget was then voted on and approved.
In the plenary session of the House of Councillors, the House voted on and passed the provisional FY2013 budget.
