The Prime Minister Observes the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Engineering and Science

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Engineering and Science in Shinjuku Ward.
Arriving at the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Engineering and Science, the Prime Minister observed the facility for cell processing, the room for the automatic cell sheet stacking apparatus, and the room for the generation of tissues and organs.
The Prime Minister said in his address,
"The Abe administration is focusing on this area in its growth strategy, with an aim to realize an ideal society wherein people can live a long, sound life, by inputting national governmental funds intensively in such area, mainly in the area of regenerative medicine, or by making innovation including deregulation, which should lead not only to the growth of these areas but also to ensuring the people's health and further enriched lives as a result."
