Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks with His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, King of Bahrain, visited Japan last year on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bahrain. Now, on this occasion of the visit of Your Royal Highness, we would like to further develop the strategic relationship between the two countries."
