Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met with Mr. Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia, at the Prime Minister's Office.

In his address, the Prime Minister said,

"We are appraising highly the fact that Slovenia was the first among the countries of the former Yugoslavia to join the EU, and has been contributing to the stabilization of the Western Balkans.
Your country is attracting our attention as a model for introducing cutting-edge technologies in the Western Balkans, with high technological capabilities."
