Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met with Mr. Almazbek Atambaev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the Prime Minister's Office, and exchanged opinions on Japan-Kyrgyz bilateral relations and international issues.
After the summit meeting, the leaders attended the signing ceremony for the joint statement on further strengthening the friendship, partnership and cooperation between Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic, and held a joint press conference.
