On December 20, 2025, Prime Minister Takaichi held a summit meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office with H.E. Mr. Shavkat MIRZIYOYEV, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who was visiting Japan to attend the Summit of "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue (CA+JAD).
Following a salute and guard of honor ceremony, the two leaders held a meeting, followed by a document signing ceremony. The meeting concluded with a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister.
