G20 Johannesburg Summit – Day 2 –

On November 23, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Takaichi, who is visiting Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa, to attend the G20 Johannesburg Summit, participated in Session 3 “A Fair and a Just Future for All.” She then held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, and had informal talks with H.E. Mr. LEE Jae Myung, President of the Republic of Korea, as well as with H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.

Subsequently, after attending the Closing Session of the G20 Summit, she held separate summit meetings with H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa. Finally, she spoke to the press regarding her attendance at the G20 Johannesburg Summit and other matters.
