G20 Johannesburg Summit – Day 1 –

On November 22, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Takaichi visited Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa, to attend the G20 Johannesburg Summit.

The Prime Minister attended Session 1 of the G20 Summit (“Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth that Leaves No One Behind”), followed by a Leaders’ Meeting on Peace in Ukraine. She then held a meeting with the Rt Hon Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
