ASEAN-related Summit Meetings (1)

On October 25, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister TAKAICHI Sanae visited Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to attend the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) related Summit Meetings. Upon her arrival, Prime Minister Takaichi held a telephone conversation with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, and subsequently held a press conference.

On the following day, October 26 (local time), Prime Minister Takaichi held a meeting with H.E. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines. After the meeting, the Prime Minister visited the Japanese Cemetery in Kuala Lumpur to offer flowers. She then visited the Tugu Negara National Monument of Malaysia, where she laid a floral tribute.
