Message of Condolences Issued by Prime Minister ISHIBA Shigeru Regarding the airplane accident in the Republic of Korea

On December 29, Prime Minister ISHIBA Shigeru sent the following message of condolences to H.E. Mr. CHOI Sang-mok, Acting President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), regarding the airplane accident which occurred in Muan International Airport, South Jeolla Province, ROK.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of many precious lives due to the airplane accident which occurred in the ROK.  On behalf of the Government and the people of Japan, I wish to express my sincere condolences about the loss of life and send deepest sympathies to the bereaved families. My thoughts go out to all those who were injured and I sincerely hope they will make a swift recovery.”
