Congratulatory Letter from Prime Minister Ishiba to President Whipps of the Republic of Palau

On November 12, Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Mr. Surangel S. Whipps, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau. In his letter, Prime Minister Ishiba extended his congratulations on President Whipps’s re-election in the presidential election. He also stated that Japan values the “kizuna” with Palau, and expressed that he shares a goal of realizing a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)” and would like to work closely together for peace and stability in the region.
