Visit to the Philippines: Day 2

On April 30, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba, who is visiting Manila in the Republic of the Philippines, met with representatives of Japanese companies operating locally. He then visited the Japanese Memorial Garden in Caliraya, Laguna, where he offered flowers in tribute.

In the afternoon, he visited the Philippine Coast Guard in Manila and later visited Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force vessels to offer words of encouragement to the crew. He concluded the day with a press conference regarding his visits to Vietnam and the Philippines.
