On June 28, 2024, Prime Minister Kishida held the 44th meeting of the Central Disaster Management Council at the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the meeting, the participants engaged in discussions on revision of the Basic Disaster Management Plan, the Disaster Preparedness Drill Plan for fiscal year 2024, issues related to the Act on Special Measures for Active Volcanoes, and other matters.
